I have a diablosport trinity I used on my Chrysler 300 and no longer want to use it for that vehicle. Are there available tunes for my CE? Are there any handhelds for the 96's? Thanks for any replies...I'm a noobie
I believe your 96 is OBD2 so a hand held will work. As for the other i don't know I'm sure others will chime in.
A 96 is definitely OBD2, but it's on a 16-pin connection and protocol that makes it less universally connected than later cars. For instance, in terms of PC-based tuning, HP Tuners and other typical applications and cables don't work. Jet DST and LT1-Edit are the only options for that. I don't know about handheld scanners. They might be able to read it but not flash new tunes to it. In short, research carefully before buying.

just FYI. I'm logging several genetic obdII parameters with HP Tuners on my 1996. But not flash. LT 1 edit has proven to be an excellent choice to flash. What parameter s do you wish to change?
