Steel of flex lines for 700r4 Transmission?
Hello,
Which is better for a standard street car. Steel lines or braided flex lines?
I don't want to loose pressure between transmission and cooler.

Melting Slicks
You won't lose pressure
Steel is stronger.

Some flexable lines are ribbed inside and cause psi drop, but you can get smooth bore.
Also you can buy pre-bent steel or stainless lines, I'm sure more than a few corvette merchants carry them and nicopp is an easy bend metal type for DIY.
edit: Almost forgot, it's the fittings that sometimes are the bottle neck, I know some cheaper AN braided line style were a lot smaller than the hose itself. Pushlock style is larger ID but not recommended for hot fluids as they can weaken and blow off.
