Default Service TPMS

Have the dreaded service TPMS light on. I'm guessing its a sensor, but is there any way to test the module and other components of the system? And where the heck do you find sensors for these things?

What year car? Diagnostic procedures I believe vary and it's generally assumed that sensors are NLA and used or sometimes NOS surface. I have an NOS for an early car (which location I don't recall, it's boxed and I might check later today).

Buy the Factory Service Manual, can generally find them on ebay.

The car is 1995. Sorry, I forgot to say that. I've looked on ebay a couple of times for the wheel sensors with no luck and I see that the dealer doesn't carry them anymore. But I would like to find out if that is what's wrong first before I go any further.

'95 LTPWS I believe requires a jumper "6" - "5" on the DLC, codes for "LOW TIRE" are 23, 33, 43 & 53 and "SENSOR" is 24, 34, 44 & 54.

Clearing is grounding 3 times "6 - 5" in 10 seconds, both lamps to steady on until KEY-OFF

I've checked/cleared later codes but only using a Tech1 - never did just the "jumper".

Gordon Kilbrew used to market a set of "pills" for the OBD II connector cars that jumper the correct two pins for CCM, ECM / LTPWS, SIR, and I don't remember the other one. Maybe ASR or Selective ride control?
I see that they still make a set of plugs to diag the different systems. Are they necessary or can the pins just be jumped with a paperclip like I used to do with my old Z28

If you need a sensor I have two I removed from my 96, a yellow and blue. My two other two were destroyed in what looks like a careless tire install before I owned it.

Paper clip method works fine, especially to pull the codes. Resetting the system is much easier with one of the "plugs" but can still be done using a paperclip.
