Default 1990 seats: what else can I do?

Does anyone know what other seats will actually fit in a C4? I can get C5 and 6 seats complete with tracks cheaper than new leather for my stock non sport seats. Or recommend an aftermarket seat maybe? I don't want to give up any room, I'd like to gain space if possible.

The C4 requires a narrower seat than the C5/6's. I've had a pair of APC Sport seats in mine that worked fine with a bit of easy modifications. Currently, I have a pair of Corbeau A4's in it.
There are not many reclining sport seats that will fit th C4. If you will accept one-piece seats (non-adjustable backs), your options will be far more numerous.

Do you have a model number or name of a reclining seat that will fit? I'm 6'1" With A Size 13 shoe, I NEED My Room lol. I'm pretty good with my hands so I'm sure the modification process will be easy.

I have seen both c5 and c6 seats in a c4. C5/c6 tracks are wider but the ones I've seen use the factory c4 tracks. From what I remember it is not a difficult task at all.

Now THAT'S what I want to hear, if anyone has done this, please give me pointers. I have seen 5 or 6 good sets of c5 seats for $2 or $300

the fighter jet style sports seats of the 84-93 are the better seats vs the unsupportive models with wider bases in the 94 and up

Yes, I can agree with that. My seats are comfortable in my 90. The driver seat was replaced with the "leather like" replacement skins before I got it. The passenger seat is still original. They don't match, the one is all shiny and the old passanger side is....... flat black? And it's brittle as a cracker. I'm scared someone will rip it.

Not bad for 280k miles and near 28 years
I really don't think this is real leather.

I had mine redone once, and wasnt happy with it. I went with Corbeau A4s and I wasn't happy with the installation but the seat itself is good.

With my 93 installing 94 base seat gave me more headroom, IDKY got them because there were cheap and in better shape than my originals.
