heater blower motor

Hi
I'm working on another club members vette 87. The blower motor does not work properly. If I run a hot wire to the motor it comes on..

I replaced the blower motor control module and nothing. I replaced the blower motor relay. It worked. I cut the car off .I restarted the car cut it on and nothing. Could the motor have a short in it? Any ideas

If you have 12v to motor terminal and housing is grounded. Motor needs replaced.
