EGR Pipe...Moisture?
Well, once again...just got the car started again after doing a bunch of stuff to it. Had not run since November.
So I have an EGR pipe question, and again...Man, I hate messing with that thing. I did consider taking all that off, but maybe another time. Just wanted it running again for now...
Anyway...
After letting the car run for a bit, I noticed some moisture kind of building up under the EGR pipe, where it bolts onto the manifold. I replaced almost every gasket, o-ring etc. along the way with the stuff I did...even found a few that didn't come in the "sets" on my own...but never found a new EGR pipe gasket, so left the old one on there. I guess some have a gasket there, and others not...but anyway. Does not smell like fuel, and not oily. Just seems to be moisture. Normal?
Maybe I need to tighten it some, but I am careful with anything that bolts into aluminum.
Thanks!
