Default over heated
the van over-heated and there was a milky white fluid on top of the radiator. The trasmission fluid was not discolored. what could b the problem?

The rare corvette van, haven't seen one of those ever.

What color is the radiator?
What torque converter are you using?
Did you scan the com uplink?
This might be a case of just not closing the spline.
