Looking for some input on a factory console mounted shifter for drag racing.I know they are made, but I haven't been able to find one that will mount in a c4 (87) vette. All the one I see at summit are for camaros.Any help would be appreciated.

There were a couple of pictures a while back of forum members with a B&M shifter. The installs looked pretty slick as I recall. Might want to try a search. I just leave mine in drive (4l60E). It's deadly consistent with shifts dialed in by laptop.

I use the b&m pro stick without cover in my 85, fits perfect. Just need to make new holes for it. Much easier with tranny out.
