Default trailing arm help

I am replacing my bushings and they are worn, I cant seem to get the top trailing arm to get loose enough to remove replace. Any one know which pieces need to be loose to get some play there. I have a jack under the wheel to help. Mabey shock has to come off. Bottom arm came off. Thx

Sounds like you just have it bound up. My preference is to have the shock removed and spring as well so everything can be moved freely. Plus with everything gone you are able to clean everything up.

You just have the knuckle articulated enough where it just can't come off. Remove the shock and lower the jack. That should give you the slack you need.

You'll likely want to undo the rear spring on one side then all the parts can be removed and replaced that side.

I replaced the trailing arms and camber rods on mine with the spring unhooked and it was fine. If you have the spring hooked up you run the risk of the knuckle wanting to roll under on you.

My 2 cents

Good for you. The other side should go quicker now that you're experienced.
