Banjo Washers - Reusable?
Are the banjo washers used on the head-head coolant tube reusable? I'm about to put my heads back on and was going to try to reuse them unless that's a no-no.

I had the same delema about replacing the banjo bolts & washers when I had the heads ported. I believe they should be replaced. Mine looked squashed, so I replaced both the bolts and washers. Not cheap. Cost me $27 for the complete set at local chevy dealer. I did not want to chance them leaking as they are difficult to get at and could leak on the clutch ruining that also. Your decision.

They are rubber with a steel ring around the outside. Like nothing I have seen before.
The banjo bolt washers on brake calipers are copper, so that's must be what you are thinking about.
