Default 95 corvette 6 speed intermittently starting & LCD dash light not coming on

I've checked all fuses & battery. When turning key to on position, LCD dash light should come on and show fuel reading, etc. and it does not come on at all. The headlights, AC heater fan, radio, horn, etc. all work! I was able to get it to turn over intermittently and it dies out within seconds. The LCD dash light doesn't come on even when it starts up for those few seconds. No pattern on why it sometimes starts up for a few seconds, then won't start at all. I've made sure that the clutch is pushed in all the way and I've moved around the gear shift to eliminate any safety start up switches. Could this be an ignition switch or Central Command Module issue? If this is a Central Command Module, where I can purchase a Central Command Module? Any ideas?

Check ground points first, make sure battery terminals are nice and clean. Also how old is the battery?

I'd be starting in the same area... make sure you have a good battery first.. then test the starter motor. If both of these are ok then it gets more involved.. keep us posted.
