Weird Starting / Short Issue
Ok, I'm stumped. 95 coupe, road race only. Optispark and and water pump were changed, but no issues on R&R, all connections back and good.
CCM, fuel pump, dash all power up with key to ON. Turn to start and hear solenoid click, but then nothing and car goes dead. System won't come back on for a few minutes. Checked all fuses, wiring, pulled starter and tested.
Doubdle checked all connections, voltages etc. Went through factory service manuals diagnostics and still can't find anything.
Ideas?

Yup, nothing like the OP being the first to comment on their thread. But I have a possible theory and need to bounce it off the board;
Passive Keyless Entry is my issue. I took out what I thought was the antenna for the radio from the back. It looks like it was for the PKE. Explains why the whole system goes dead and but comes back in '3 minutes' like the manual says. I took that antenna out a while ago but hadn't pulled the battery or taken the key out since then. Once that happened I bet the computer needed to 'see' that key again and without the antenna, no key. No start. So, $30 later I've ordered one via eBay.
First C4 so I'm learning the details of this car.
Poke holes in my theory, still need suggestions.

It sounds more like you don't have enough Amp's from battery or solid connection, so try jump starting from a good battery. If it was a VATS starter wouldn't click and you said car goes dead next time car is dead shake the big connections, Battery cables love to corrode.
