Default 87 TPI Convertible - Should I bury car or just ECM

I may be looking at the ECM but missing how to get it out. The area I'm pretty sure it's in is buried by wires and 'stuff'. Looks like it's in a plastic box? Secrets?

That's not the ecm. The ecm is easily removed from under that area. Take the lower kick/knee panel off, and look up from underneath. You'll see it there in a white plastic bracket secured by two 10mm bolts. Remove those and slide it down to remove.

you still have to take the connectors off of it before it will go down very far.
One is longer than the other, so they are murphy proof
