If in 94 the ALDL connector is still square, you are looking for pins A&B which happen to be in the upper right hand corner. Jump these and turn the key to the on position and your SES light will flash the codes.
Ok, I just looked in my service manual. It says that in 94 you could have either the 12 pin or 16 pin connector. If you still have the 12 pin connector you can do what I said above, if you have the 16 pin they claim you'll have to use a scan tool.

You can't jump A to B on a 94 it uses a 16 pin ALDL connector you have to jump 4 to
12 which is the 4th from the left on the top row and the one just under it. Then turn
the key on and watch the speedo were the speed is displayed and you will be able to
read code in 1.1 CCM, 4.1 PCM(ECM), 9.1 ABS/ASR, A1 SIR.. Then let us know what
you find and let us know and we can go from there.
