92 convertable possible ecm
92 vette had a code 16 and 41, replaced coil module, now just code 16,
the lo res and high res signals are at 4.75 vdc and should be 5 vdc possible bad ecm, I want to clean connectors at the ecm , how do I remove the plastic cover over the connectors. there are screws close to the ecm and there are reddish tabs 8 I think , how do I take it off without destroying it.
I hope some one can help.
also does it sound like a bad ecm?
ok got the cover off and got to the connectors, but now anyone have any ideas on the hi and lo res voltage abnomaly?
ok cleaned all connectors lo and hi res still 4.75

I would venture to say you have an intermittent Optispark failure. I had one recently and it would fail when the car got hot.
good luck!
