1987 vs 1988 Fuel Sender
Curious if anyone knows what the difference is between the 1987 and 1988 fuel sending units. In the new Eckler's catalog that was mailed to me, there's a listing for only sender (no pump) for 1984, 1985-87, then 1988. What did they do differently in 1988? I'm only curious because i believe mine to be a "half-year" 1987-1988. It has 1988 wheels, information panel, and dash cluster but VIN specifies 1987. I couldn't find enough pictures between the two to see any differences either so if anyone has any insight, it would be much appreciated!

I really don't think that there is any difference.
Often times a manufacturer changes part numbers on the identical specification part if they change suppliers/vendors so they can track it.
