Fuel Tank Pressure?
Hello,
Ever since ive had my 87 my fuel tank hasn't been "breathing" properly. The tank builds up pressure and then when I remove the gas cap it blows out for awhile. Does anyone have any ideas where I can look for a possible clog or has fixed this before?
Thank you!

I think they all do it right, it is a pressurized system, that's why when you change the fuel filter you have to depressurize or you end up with the contents of your fuel tank all over you!

It should do that when the engine is hot, not when cold. Fuel is circulating back and forth from the engine and some gets returned to the tank, this fuel is now heated and expands, building pressure in the tank. Federal emissions requires the system to be closed and under pressure, instead of dumping fumes into the atmosphere all the time.
