Default Voltage problem?

New here..I have 84 auto trans with shift kit..Im getting 3 codes..15 22 &42..Not sure if these parts are actually bad or not..The temp sensor is brand new for code 15..throttle position sensor may b bad cause when i try to set it to .54 the voltage just maxes out on meter no matter where i move sensor to..other code is for ignition module which i havnt checked yet..But here is the thing..The car runs like crap..Did full tune up and changed IACs but the IACs do not function at all..I set to 1.125 but they do nothing..I have to put screw driver in tb passage to drop idle from 1000 down to 600rpms..Plus no code showing for IACs..Could problem b my ecm?? Any help will b very appreciated...

so are you seeing this max voltage (3 or 4 volts) on two wires of the tps? You probably know one wire will be at 5 volts constant. You may have lost the ground contact, and it cant drop the voltage down.

So i assume you mean i lost the ground in the harness? As ive been checking voltage with pin method in top two wires of tps..or do you mean the tps is bad? other question is do you happen to know if the iacs work together meaning both if one is bad the other will not function//
thanx

Error code 42 is an open between the ICM (Ignition Control Module) and the ECM. You will get this error when the EST (Electronic Spark Timing) connector is opened to set the spark timing. This is frequently a "non-error", just left over from somebody setting the timing.
