Changed out the Coolant Temperature Sensor and she ran better for a while now it smells like she's running rich again. Any thoughts on what I could check to be a cause?
Crossfire, new plugs and air cleaner plus air cleaner base gaskets and the aforementioned CTS replacement.
Check the ecm grounds at the back of the heads, if they're loose or dirty funny things can happen. Check Ign timing, as this can effect engine vacuum (which effects map readings) and make sure it advances when you rev it.
Check the fuel pressure, maybe its too high.
You might want to get it scanned to look at live data.
If your roller rockers are the same ratio as stock, then they will have very little effect on performance. Roller rockers will have slightly less valve train friction than stamped at higher rpm. They would be good if your engine has been modified to breathe better at high rpm.
My 85 had 1.5 stock stamped rockers, and I've read that they are actually a little less than that in reality. I went to the 1.6 to get a bit more lift from my stock cam.
The 1.6's are probably giving a small boost to your power across the powerband, so that's good.
The bad is that at 144k miles at rebuild my valves had deposit buildup on the tops of the valves which was very bad for airflow. That would negate any performance mods.
