Default Bright light indicator light stays on.

1993 C4 LT1.
The bright indicator light stays on after the the lights are dimmed.
I installed a new dimmer switch but it still stays on.

Do you have any issues with the instrument cluster not lighting up or the turn signal lights also light? If so, you might have a grounding issue internal to the instrument cluster. If it's internal to the cluster, check out Batee.com website, it has a wealth of info on repair and rebuilding the instrument cluster.

Are you running LED headlights? Those can cause an issue where if you turn on the fog lights it will also activate the high beams and will not switch to low beams at all. If this actually is your issue do a search for the "circuit doctor fix".

I also noticed that the fuel gauge isn't working.

It has the standard head light bulbs.
Thanks for all the replies, i will check the headlight grounds and current on the Lt. green wire.
