Code 24 Help. starts, then dies
hello,
1986 4+3 manual. 115K.
car hasn't been driven much in the last few years but it has been started and driven around the yard.
Went to start the other day, hits right away, then dies. I try to feather the gas, nothing, try to floor it, nothing. just turns over, hits, then dies.
OBD-1 blinks code 24, vehicle speed sensor?????????
car ran fine 2 weeks before.
please advise.

I'm not sure the Code 24 it is related to your car not running. Did your speedometer read zero anytime while it was running?
My quick guess (without much information) is that you may have a fuel pressure issue.
If the car "hits" (which I guess means "runs") but does not stay running, I'd start with a fuel pressure. If you don't have adequate presure you need to check pump, filter then injectors.
The fact that your car hasn't been driven much means that lots of things could be at play, but start with fuel pressure.
On your code 24, start with (carefully) checking your connection on the trans.
