Default Need some gasket help! LT4/LT1?!?!

Ok I need to know what gasket are you guys running with LT4 Ported heads/intake?!?!? What is the part number. I have to remove my intake this weekend and need to get some ordered asap!

Also I need a head gasket I used the felpro .39 compressed size before and I am pretty sure that number is 1074. It says 4.125 bore however, all they all like that or does it matter if I am stock bore?!?!?

Thanks!

I have run the 1074 gaskets before. I thought they were a 4.060 though, and not a 4.125. I have also run just stock head gaskets and I believe that is what I have installed at the moment.

As for the intake gasket, give Jeff Kopp a call and ask him for the updated LT4 intake gasket if you are running LT4 heads. His number is 800-728-8267.

The revised GM intake gasket for LT4 is p/n 12367777. Felpro makes a variety of sizes also.

Thanks guys,

Does it matter on the head gasket if I am running a stock bore still?

See I had a piston tap a valve from over lashed valves so I am going to pull that head and check for damage (hopefully the pushrod took it all) and if it is ok I want to reinstall it so I believe the head gasket I have on the other side is the 1074 already.

Thanks again!

Oh yeah I am running LT4 heads/intake

End quote! I'm using the Impy gaskets on mine. Best guesses is that I am around 11.5:1
