Ive been getting "Secondary air injection" codes since my header install. I have O2 sims and the O2's welded into the collectors. Anybody have this same problem. I have a 96 LT4 with the L98 headers, and all the EGR stuff removed. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Did you remove the AIR pump in the process? If so that's probably your trouble. I guess you can either plug the air pump back up but don't connect any of the plumbing or you can have it turned off in the computer.

Hehe.....
Yep. I had the same thing. The AIR pump turns on & the PCM monitors the O2 voltages for a change. If the change doesn't occur the DTC sets. Bet dollars to donuts the AIR pump isn't hooked to the headers. What's the model # of your headers?
LT1 Edit will solve your problems but it's $550.00. If you aren't going to do anything else to the engine I would get perf. shop with the software to fix it & reflash the PCM (It takes about 5 mins.) They will be less but you won't be able to play with the tuning yourself.
