Gas/Brake pedal relocation

Gas/Brake pedal relocation
Have an '84; the brake pedal is waaaay higher than the gas making it extremely difficult to heal-toe. Anyone have recommendations as to what they did to fix this?

That would be interesting to see if there is a fix for this. It bugs me sometimes as well. Wonder if you would cut and weld the brake pedal lower or raise the gas pedal in order to get them closer. Or maybe some sort of spacer for the brake to lower it down..?..

The way it mounts (directly behind MS) make it look difficult.
Maybe cut the pedal itself, bend it, weld and move it over? Add some slots maybe, so it's a little bit adjustable?
Frankly, it looks easier to move the gas pedal.
