I got four for ~$111 from Summit. They ship quick:D. It was pretty easy to put them in. The hardest part was taking the wheels off:crazy:.
The car handles great. It feels very solid and a little stiffer. I love these shocks.
Changing shocks is no big deal. I don't know why I waited so long.

Did the same thing a few months ago, Bilsteins to KYB'. Very happy for the price.
Dang, glad to hear that news. Been putting it off as well. Next thing on list. thanks. with 122,000 miles on original shocks its past time to do it.

what r u doing with your old bilsteins?
Send em to me!
I will rebuild em
I heard that KYB's are a little soft and mushy and tend to fade in road courses or autox. But for the price........great street\strip shocks

I had the KYBs, but got the Konis because they were too bouncy on the highway. The KYBs were great around town!I heard that KYB's are a little soft and mushy and tend to fade in road courses or autox.

My 90 had about the same miles as yours when I replaced the originals with KYB's. You will be very happy with the results. Dang, glad to hear that news. Been putting it off as well. Next thing on list. thanks. with 122,000 miles on original shocks its past time to do it.

Good spy on the KYBs. My car has to need new shocks, but I like how it squates and lifts in the front when at the track. I think if I stiffen it up it will be harder to get to hook up. It still handles like a top on the street. I still may have to make this move and see. For that price why not.
KYBS are great for stock height cars for the $$ value. Because my 93 is lowered so much the brand new KYBs bounced liek crazy and floated all over the highway at high speeds. BUT , they were good before i lowered it. I had my bilsteins custom built with shorter shafts so the car had proper rebound because of the lowering. Nice and stable at 190 mph :yesnod:

I never lowered my car, but the new KYBs still felt like I was floating on a boat at 75 mph on the highway. I bought the adjustable Konis and turn it one turn from the softest setting. Car handles great now and ride is not too stiff unless you hit one of those back-breaking speed humps!KYBS are great for stock height cars for the $$ value. Gus,
I'm not sure what i'm going to do with them. I know it was $50 to rebuild each one but I didn't have the time to do that. My car needed new shocks asap.
I have the FE1 (softest) suspension so the KYBs were an improvement.
