Welcome to the forum.

Budget is relative; one persons "big bucks" is another "pocket change" so throw a number out there and we will be happy to spend it for you.

In any event, the biggest bang for the buck on a limited budget will be exhaust modifications starting with headers.

I suggest a good tune, should run a few hundred bucks. The factory tune is good but there is room for improvement. Search around for a shop that knows what they are doing, you might get a few recommendations from CF users here.

The stock LT1 exhaust flows pretty good matched with the other factory equipment (intake, heads, cam, etc). Granted the manifolds are a bit crude so headers may pay off a few HP. My car is completely stock and runs very strong. Just thinking about bang for the buck / budget HP. Don't bother cutting open the airbox unless you are also adding exhaust, or heads, or cam, or supercharger/turbo.

If you can turn a wrench, and your car is a MAF car ('94-'96).....CAM. Most power for the money that is not a power adder.

BUT I agree with others. Help us, help you . What is your budget and goal?
