LTCC Coil Conversion Pictures
Folks, the ones of you that still have access to your pictures, could you upload them here to the forum ? With the recent changes to the photo hosting sites that want money to enable third party (ie: a forum) hosting, the great pictures that you all posted when you documented your builds are unavailable.
These were a great resource.
So, if you would, please attach them to this thread using the tool set above to upload them. This way other folks (including myself) will be able to see what you did.
I don't think any text is needed, that is back in your original postings.
Thanks !

I'm using the Proform center bolt valve covers with Chevrolet script. Their a little taller than stock but there is plenty of clearance. I have had some fabrication work done to them for a catch can, oil fill, and to allow clearance for the stock alternator. I wouldn't consider them a bolt in part.

I'm not sure that is a fair assumption. Mine, and PLRX's are certainly not garage queens. He actually has the documentation to prove it. I've been opti trouble free since I installed mine in January of 2015. I don't get to drive my car as much as I used to as I have a company vehicle now but I drive it as much as I can.

I tend to not trust aftermarket systems, which is why I'm wanting to know more about durability.
I'm not helping myself by replacing one system with another, unless its more reliable.

Well that's all fine but neither of you said anything about the miles you have on your systems.

Keep in mind, I had some serious issues finding quality opti replacements. I had a Chandler opti crap out after 1 year/15k miles. Then I had an Advanced Auto Cardone unit crap out again after 1 year/15k miles. Then I had a Delphi with a "Mitsubishi" sensor take a dump after 6 months or so. Then I installed a Petris Opti and LTCC kit and all has been well. I am not saying its the end all be all for reliability. I get it, you can buy 10 optisparks for the price of an LTCC, etc..etc...
But, the last opti cut out on me in the middle of US19, in New Port Richey, in mid day, with heavy traffic buzzing by. So anything I can do to minimize that nightmare from ever happening again, I will. It was not fun, or safe, or inexpensive to get towed home.
