I found some used headers. They appear as if they will fit. The guy from craigslist claimed they came off of an 80's chevy truck. They go straight down and straight back and look like the headers for c4's that i have seen before. They are longer tubes. It did not come with gaskets.
Assuming everything works do you guys think high temp silicon will work for gaskets? What would you use? Not sure that I can buy gaskets that fits as I don't know the maker or model.
Any suggestions? Any issues I may encounter in installation? How hard are these to install on c4's? I have an l98.
If the headers aren't made specifically for a C4 Corvette, I really don't think they will fit.. If you look up headers for a C4 Corvette you will see that they won't fit any other car, so I really doubt truck headers will work...WW

Surprisingly, I measured everything and I believe it fits perfect. However I see that the current manifold has some smog set up running into the manifolds. If i disconnect them and they are not connected into the new headers will it cause an issue? what are these lines going into the manifolds?
