Are all C$ differentials the same?
Are all C4 differentials the same except for maybe the "Batwing" ?
Does model year fitment cross over from one year to another ? Will a differential from an 84 bolt up to a 94 without modification ?

No. The manual shift cars, except for the 84's, got a Dana 44. The automatic cars, a Dana 36. The batwings, driveshafts and C-beams have differences. Then in the D36's there are 2 different cases based on the original gearset the car came with.

Would it? Yes but you would need to bore the '84 D36 for the later year camber brackets.
