I was driving my '95 home yesterday and the rear seemed to want to move to the right when accelerating at lower speeds (around 45) . Also seems to move when first braking. Just want to get some ideas of what to look for after Irma passes. Thanks for any help.

Not much for details, but looseness where suspension arms attach, as well as tie rods.

Check the tie rods first. They control the direction of the rear wheel, the rod ends can wear out...and it's an easy thing to check.

Check the rear bushings. If they have not been replaced, they will probably need new poly for the rear.

I had the same issue and it turns out my sway bar bushings were shot. I replaced them with heim joint end links.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Hopefully Irma won't be so bad. Not looking good right now though. I'd really like to check this out.
