Momo hub assembly question

Default Momo hub assembly question
Im in the process of putting a Momo 2702 hub in my 86.
I have a question that i couldnt find an answere to here or anywhere else.
All those plastic rings behind the stock steering wheel (see picture) should they stay on behind the Momo hub or be removed?
They where just laying there as shims when i removed the stock wheel.

How do you open your beer bottles while driving if the opener is on the key? I have no idea about your question. Dan
