CAGS is annoying isn't it? :mad I finally got the computer reprogramed so the light no longer comes on as well. Now the tranny works as it should! :yesnod:

Did you reprogram the light not to come on with LT1 edit? I've got the eliminator, but I would like to disable the light as well. Like Glock it only flashes occasionally when driving behind slow traffic from a stop. Or in lovely wheather such as we are having today.

I didn't do it. I had it done at Speed Demon motorsports when the 383 was installed. I believe Chris uses LT1 edit. You might give him a call, he might be able to provide more info. There's a link in my sig.

Glock, I would recomend spending the $15 and doing it right. You have a nice car, don't start chopping and taping and splicing. Guy http://store.yahoo.com/corvetteforum/zip-pm-171-sc.html

Hmm, you can spend $15 for a piece of plastic with a resistor in it or you can unplug the connector, stick a resistor in the end of the plug and tape it up.

Where does the chopping and taping and splicing come into the picture?

Nathan, I did not really mean that in the "literal" sense. It is just my opinion that I would rather spend $15 and use the correct part than try to "rig" something. Just my opinion. Guy

As soon as you can get LT1edit (for OBDII). Jimmy69 is right it's $550.00 but man is it worth it. You can change ANYTHING in the engine or tranny. I sold my CAGS eliminator to another guy on the board & just flashed it out.

Can the edit be done on a 1992 with OBD1?
