I've only had my 93 Vette (LT1) for a month and it has been running great, absolutely no problems. This morning, I went to start it, and it turned over just fine, but wouldn't start. I tried 3 or 4 more times and the same results.
It wouldn't start. It was about 44 degrees this morn, but I wouldn't think that would be cold enough to affect anything. Anyone had this problem?
Got a cure? Hope it's something simple. Thanks
The first step is to determine if you have fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Remove the cap from the Schraeder valve on the left side of the fuel rail and carefully depress the valve core (use a shop towel or paper towels to absorb any fuel spray). If not much pressure, not turn the ignition key on for a few seconds; turn the key off and repeat the pressure test. If not pressure diagnose the fuel system.
If fuel is OK, clip a timing light onto #1 wire and have someond hold the light trigger (or tape it on) while you crank the engine. If no flashes diagnose the ignition system.
