1994 Engine Shakes When Stopped in Drive Code H64
A little backstory: The car threw a code 64 in section 4 after shaking real bad when coming to a stop and getting really bad mpg. I checked the right o2 and it was broke apart. I replaced both o2 sensors and cleared the code.
Today when I took the car on a test drive after replacing the o2 sensors, the car ran great, till the end. After about 20 minuets of driving I pulled into my drive and let off the gas to slowly drive in, the car sounded like it wanted to die. The engine was shaking bad and chocking up. When I put it in park though, the car stopped doing this. I put it back in drive and it started shaking and chocking up again. The car seems to only do this in drive. I then checked the codes again and H64 was back. Any ideas about what is causing this? I really want to get the car running again, it just keeps breaking almost every week.

Well was it the very same O2 again? And did it just fail to produce a good output? Or was physically broken again??
If it's getting physically broken then it's definitely a mechanical issue that you would have to locate and resolve.
Now a bad output signal could be caused by several things like oil contamination inside the exhaust pipe or sealer covering the wire connection where the sensor needs to breathe. Or the wires could be at fault causing shorts or opens.

Well it shouldn't be related to the sensor you just replaced should it? I think you need to get and post a data log of real-time data in both open and closed loop.

Any solution yet I have the exact same symptoms
