rear hatch ?? does it need viagra?
my rear hatch worked fine and overnight it won't come up on its own anymore. what gives? do the stut rods fail that unexpectedly? push release button and it unlatches, but have to lift it by hand and hold it up. should i spend the extra cash on gm replacements or can i get by with aftermarket stut rods?

Check with TLD. I got mine from them for about $38.00 each and they were GM parts.

I had 'em replaced under warranty. I did the push test on the old ones and only one was really weak. May save a few bucks if you check them against each other.
