not a vette but know theres a few of you with reliable info. .truck forums suck.

02 1500. When cold, putting into reverse gets a quick jerky motion cant tell if its a torque converter?? or something else, seems to be fine when warm. The other day while decel on the fwy got a slight trailer hitching thing going on. (No codes)
havent even put 1000 mi on it this yr sits a lot but have noticed a major loss of power overall (hoping thats not the converter)..runs smooth as silk
4th trans in this thing hoping i dont have to do yet another. Hate GM autos

Fluids/filter fresh

Anyone?

yeah have no faith in em..brand new @ 90 mi started it up put in R and the case cracked in half.

This one has lasted over 70k...wishing I could convert to Turbo 400 gets the same mileage in D as OD up to 60mph and I know that thing wont break. Know this is kinda off topic but lots of guys here seem to have the same trans in thier C4

Confab around?

Just to say a word and it wouldn't be a reliable info

You mentioned a jerky motion...

The only think i know about this, (if it would be a shuddering what you meant)
On my w5a580 it is due torque converter clutch (it is normal on my AT) when it engage-disengage for some speed....

So would you consider this clutch in yoor trans?

How sound is engine? It could be engine performance related. If you have or know someone with scanner the transmission electronics can be monitored. That may show what's going on.
