1995 Corvette Shift Indicator
Anyone know how to repair a shift indicator lens that is starting to separate from the console? Shifter works fine and indicates what gear you are in but plastic lens is drooping. Thanks.

you just need to remove the shift bezel, turn it upside down, and it will be pretty obvious - the lens, gear indicator (or pointer), a backing plate, and a light socket bracket, are all sandwiched together on the underside, held together and attached to the bezel with a couple small screws. easy fix. sounds like one of the screws came loose or fell out. FYI, a dab of thread locker will solve that problem -

not sure what kind of link you want, but here a pic of the underside of a 1990 shift level bezel. all C4's use a similar setup. as I said, once you remove the bezel, everything's pretty obvious -
sounds like you need to tighten one or both screws holding the "lens/gear pointer" assembly to the console bezel. not sure a, "step-by-step, remove, repair, and replace, down to the nut and bolt level" link, exists.
