Actually never broken a stock gm rod! I use arp bolts, just hve rod checked for lenght/weight, and mag'd then put'em in. I've been to 8000+ rpm(stock car racing), made 560+hp(406 stock 5.7" 350 rods ARP bolts), and abused 'em regularly!!!! None broke,(nock on wood) so I'll use 'em! Besides I always thought "formulas" what you feed babies!! :lol: :cheers:
