Default What is this sensor?

Here's a photo of 2 sensors, the one on the right with yellow /black wires is the Coolant temperature Sensor

What is the sensor on the left with yellow and purple wires?

I have the workshop manual but can't find it there

thanks

from another post - the pic shows the coolant sensor (blue arrow). the cold start injector thermo-time switch (red arrow) - used only on the 1985-88 TPI engines. the bottom pic is from a 3rd gen Camaro site - for some reason, the position of the sensors are reversed between the two . I can't swear the Camaro pic is correct. I guess it doesn't matter, as long as the connectors fit the sensor locations. seems to me the two electrical connectors come off two separate harnesses. FWIW, just checked my 85, and it mimics Robs 88. it seems to be in the natural positions for the harness connectors.

Thanks for the info, so it's a cold start thermo-time switch.
Funny how the Camaro seems to have things topsy turvy - like the routing of the serpentine belt.
