Track Day

Took the car to the track Sunday and let my daughter have at it. after a couple of mods over stock LT1 with 4L60 I added a Protorque 2800 stall converter and a 3.54 rear gear that I got from Renegade from this forum. very impressed with the new found performance. due to hi winds track was only running the 1/8 mile. car in 10 runs went consistent 8.5 et. with a 1.8 60'.... also have a resonator delete X-Pipe which I alsom got from another member.

Car looks like it is launching hard. Especially considering its basically stock.

Good to see a C4 getting used instead of dead or dying in a garage from lack of driving, people unable to fix an old car, etc....

Best I have been able to do in my stock 93 LT1 6 speed on street tires is a 1.9 60' and about 8.65 best 1/8th mile. Runs 13.4's consistently.

my best in my 86 auto has been 14:03. need to get some sticky tires, darn car likes to spin to much
