code 32
I can't seem to get this figured out. I get the service engine soon lite while driving on the highway for about 10-15 miles. In town driving it does not come on. It sets code 32. I have replaced the EGR switch, TPS, Oxygen sensor and switch. I also replaced the intake manifold gasket about 1 yr ago along with plugs, wires distributor cap and rotor. It is a 86 with 122000 miles other than this runns fine. Any idea would be appreciated.

I get one when its hot outside, i ignore it, it doesnt do anything to the car.
Sometimes its the EGR solenoid, sometimes its the gas cap not being tight enough (you have to turn it until it clicks)

I had the same trouble with my 85 then i finally took the bulb out of the socket. But, I talked to my mechanic about it when i replaced the engine and I don't remember exactly what he said was the problem. But it had something to do with the EGR valve not working properly and the computer didn't realize it till i had drove it a few miles. I didn't worry about it cause I've stripped the emissions crap off anyway but it's not big deal....it won't cause any problems

First of all, welcome to the fourm. Code 32? I've gotten it from time to time ever since I eliminated the precats and installed a high flow cat. What exhaust mods have been done on your car?

Have you tried the EGR Temperature Swithch? That is the problem I had... Replaced the switch for $10 and it has been fine sice.
...you might want to check the wiring for that temp switch as well.
