Default Power antenna problems

I noticed three grounds were disconnected from the antenna. One that goes from near the rear end to the bracket under the antenna motor, and the two that go from the bracket with two holes on top of the motor near the fender. Even though I hooked them all back up it still not working. It has never worked since I bought the car. Could the motor be gone? If so, how would I test it? Thanks. It's a 91 by the way.

I believe those aren't grounds that needed being secured to anything. Those are meant to be "hangers"!!! I don't know that the '91 FSM shows the ground plane but I'd expect them to be there likely. I've never inspected a '91 for them but I've seen them in the later models. maybe they were added when antenna design changed in '93 I think.

I would have expected a ground strap from the antenna to a position on the frame rail in the left rear wheel-house.
