If the car still has the original Multitec injectors installed I wouldn't do it.
Fuel injector cleaner has been known to strip the insulation off the wire coil winding in the injector resulting in an electrical short and a dead injector. The original injectors were supposed to be "self-cleaning" with a disk that rotated slightly every time the injector fired thus cleaning the sludge buildup away..
Hopefully your injectors have been replaced at some point with another brand (Bosch-Ford Accel, etc). Most multitec injectors fail at some point!
