Default MSD Window Switch!

Hey,
Can anyone tell me which wire you tap off of the computer on a 1996 LT4 for a MSD Window Switch to get a Rpm Signal off of? And what would be a good rpm starting point and ending point?
Thanks,
Icemanto

Do a search for Harlan shift light and you should find a link to Hutch's install in his GS and should specify the wire to tap to get the tach feed.

I myself use an MSD ignition so I feed it off the output signal on that.

I will go and look at mine and tell you when i get back in town if you don't have answer by then. I think I tapped in at the green wire coming off the coil. The window switches I use are 3200 on the low side and 6200 on the high side. I have been told don't go below 3000. I also bumped the rev limiter to 6600 on my lt4.

Yes is the green wire on the coil. Trying to find the same wire on the computor harness is near impossible with out a lt4 service manual and it is definitely different from an lt1.
