Default Tonawanda Engine

I recently watched the video about the last C4. I noticed that the engine cart had a note in it that said "the end of the line". They was a brief mention that the facility the c4 engines came from was no longer supporting the Corvette line. Is this when Tonawanda became the supplier? At the C5 time?
So if i have this right, where did the Lt1 and Lt4 and L98 etc come from?
Also, does anyone know the history od Corvette engines? Kinda like, we know C1 started in Michigan, then went to St Louise, and then lastly to Ky. Whats up with the power plants?

Seems to me that we are all discussing these engines in a Corvette forum. I dont recall reading any mention of the other cars prior to the statement in question .
That being said, why would one assume BG would be able to build "All LT4s"? So i would think the statement as initially said could be understood that the poster was speaking about LT4s for Corvettes.
I have noticed most internet arguements are started by the argue er trying to make something from nothing.
