Hello,
92 lt1. Yes it's winter time and the car sits in the garage . I was thinking in the spring of going with a high performance , blue printed, bored and stroked air freshener that hangs from the mirror. I have seen some stock ones at the gas station for 89 cents , but I'm like lets go for it . I want something that's gonna send the torque curves through the roof, some real put ya back in the seat kind of stuff. Has anybody gone thru the laborious task of installing one of these ? Should I go through the dealer ? What kind of horse power gains should I see ? I was thinking of ac delco ? Also do I need to take the car in to recalibrate the computer ? Sooooo many questions, so few answers...
They Make high performance ones that flow better for more dispersion into the air. Just make sure you spray on the right amount of oil. They flatten the torque curve and provide phantom power to the front wheels for that extra in your seat feel on hard launches. Just don't use too much oil or you may have issues with the coil needing to be cleaned.
I hear on the internet , thru my 4 th cousins cousin, who's sisters half brothers friend told them thru a third party , that i need a racer license to buy one of these ???
