items that would influence me is how you want to run it and current mileage. If you want to run very high rpm I might not stroke it; if low mileage them just head porting or new heads, big cam, and long tube headers.
Also a BIG item is your budget!

I won’t to run very high rpm and I won’t to have fun in the streets

Safety Car
500hp
Stock intake manifold will do it.
Injectors=Bigger Stock is about 24lbs, you'll be around 42lbs with 500hp.
Tune on ECM=Definitely
Stock crankshaft will support 500hp.
Headers and supporting exhaust will be a necessity.
Factory heads reworked by Lloyd Elliot Portworks and with proper camshaft selection will yield MOST of the power gains your after.
If you stick with stock displacement your going to have to rev the engine high. You'll need forged pistons and rods for that if you want it to live. If you want to keep the RPM's down a overbore and stroke to 383 will be nice. You can make about 600hp if you want to go to 396 cubic inches. 500 is easy for a 383. I highly recommend this book.

Drifting
Well
The best advice I can give you is leave the car along and enjoy it as is.
If you are talking about driving the streets of the USA....then The manual transmission LT1 corvette with its 3.42 ratio gears will compete with 95% of all sport cars and do good in stop light to stop light driving

How much money do you have to spend? That tells us how far your project goes.

Fully ported LT1 heads (Advanced Induction or Lloyd Elliott) or new AFR heads
Big cam (if you use ported heads talk to them as they can help provide the correct cam)
Good long tube headers(lose the cats and resonator but use the stock mufflers)
At least #30 fuel injectors, your stock ones will not work.
Jessel sportsman shaft rockers or good roller rockets.
A good timing chain, if you go double roller you will have to use an electric water pump
Find a really good mechanic if you have not worked on cars much

Stupid question. Have you thought about getting a speed shop here to bundle a bunch of these items together?
