Alternator CS144

Ok, I'm having some alternators issues and I'm thinking about using an LT1 (CS144) unit. Is there a particular year LT1 I should get? Are they all 140 amp? When I called the dealer they asked me if it was a 126 amp unit I was looking for.

This will be going into my 91.

Any info would really help.

I bought an LT1 CS144 for a 1994 C4.. works well

Is this direct plug and play with stock wiring and brackets?

This is very hot topic me now as my #4 CS130 blew yesterday :mad

with Stock wiring YES,

Not sure about Stock Brackets.. I am using the AIR Pump Eliminator
