Some suspension help\advice for new owner
Full disclosure, I am not a vette owner however, I an putting front and rear C4 suspension under my 1959 Chevy Apache. There is a weld in kit from Flat Out engineering (http://www.flatout-engineering.com/products.html) that allows me to install the full C4 suspension. Last month I came across an 86 C4 that had an engine fire and the guy was only asking $200 so I jumped on it. I removed what I wanted and then took the rest (not much) to the scrap yard where they gave me $200 so I got all my parts more or less free :-).
So I have started tearing things apart and would love some advice on what\how to do some things.
1. General question about the aluminum parts... I do not want to polish to a shine, seems high maintenance to maintain but I do want to clean. I have a bead blaster, should I just blast them and then wire brush? What do you all do to make it look nice again?
2. Front hub\wheel bearings? I have taken it apart as far as I can see how. Can I go further? What should I do while I have it apart?

3. Same question for the rear hubs, I got it down to where there are three star bolts ( which will not come out ) how much further should I go?

I am sure I will have more questions as I go but this should do for now. Thanks in advance for any advice and in case anyone wants to see it, here is what the c4 suspension will be going into.
