Car won't start after turning off...
After driving his car, my friend experiences this.... he drives until it reaches normal operating temperature, and then if he stops and tries to restart, he cannot. It is a stock '85 coupe. Any suggestions ? If he waits until it cools off, he can restart it.

'85 Doesn't have VATS so you can rule that out right away. My '85 was doing the same thing and it turned out to be a "heat soaked" starter. This is a weird condition, difficult to really "prove" since if you take the starter off the car to test it works fine, only acting up under extreme heat. Does it work fone if he lets it sit for about 20 mins? That's what mine did, but a jump would give it enough juice to turn over.
We replaced the starter with a high torque mini starter and have had no problems since.
I'm sending this to C4 tech so it will be answered by others with additional expereience and expertise
Re: Car won't start after turning off... (thrills)
Does the engine turn over? Or is the starter not engaging? If it turns over and won't start at normal temps, I'd be suspect of the fuel system. Possibility a bad pump.
